Are you nervous about your boudoir session? Here are some tips to help you relax during your shoot 1. Play Music – Bring your favorite music to play during your session. I also have an amazing playlist with music hand-picked to help you relax. 2. Deep Breathing – Practice deep breathing. This is a proven relaxation method. Breathe in deeply through your nose and exhale through your nose. Repeat until you feel better. 3. Take a Break – If you’re feeling overwhelmed, we can take a break from shooting and talk and relax before resuming the session. 4. Drink – Not to get drunk, but just enough to help you cut loose. Feeling a little chill will help tremendously. I offer wine or champagne with every boudoir session. I also keep a variety of non-alcoholic options available for you as well. 5. A common question I’m asked about my boudoir photography is whether a client’s images are going to end up on my website or on social media. That makes sense because I have images of other clients on these outlets, but the only images you’re seeing are from women who decided they were 100% OK with those images being shared. None of my clients are obligated to have their images posted and, in fact, most of my clients opt to keep their session pictures private. When you come in for your reveal session, we’ll discuss your privacy. Some women prefer to have zero images shared anywhere. Some are OK with me sharing in the studio only for other clients to see, and some don’t mind having their images shown on my Instagram, Facebook, or my website. I usually wait until your reveal session to talk about sharing because I don't want you to agree to share anything that you haven't seen first.
